This short break painting holiday gives you the opportunity to learn or improve your painting skills, located in an inspiring environment which will surely motivate your creativity.

Your tuition

Our tuition is relaxed and friendly, and as we do our painting around the grounds of the hotel, you can drop into the sessions in your own time. We do not like to have rigid timetables at Creative Holidays Spain as this is your time and we are here to provide you with support and advice when you request it.

On this Painting short course you have the opportunity to learn:

getting started for beginners and choosing which media to work in
how to use tone, texture, light and shade
how to make and prepare canvases for oil painting
learn about composition, scale and perspective
how to produce paintings from your own photos

Timetable

The Painting Short Courses run for 3 days/2 nights - *Additional days can be added if required*

We provide airport collection each Wednesday with collection times between midday and 2 pm - please note that we do not oporate in the months of July and August as it is too hot for painting!

Each course usually runs for arrival at lunch time at the hotel, and finishes late afternoon on the last day. For those staying of living in Spain, this allows time to travel to your next destination while it is still daylight.

These Short break Painting courses are run at the same time as our 7 day Painting holidays, so you have the chance to meet other painters and share your painting ideas and tips. As well as meeting new people, you will get the chance to socialise with them. This is helpful for those who would like to come on the Short Course, but are worried about being by themselves.

Cost

The Painting Short Course is fully inclusive and includes:

Accommodation – 2 nights
All meals - a la carte menu
Your tuition
Local transport - we take clients on various trips to local villages in the region - either for painting or simply to see more of the mountain scenery of Andalucia
Airport collection and return

The inclusive cost of the Painting Short Course is:

380 Euros/£330 per person - Full holiday cost
625 Euros/£540 for 2 people – Full holiday cost when sharing a room
Deduct £100/125 euros for non tuition partner - room sharing
50 pounds/euros - Deposit per person
Add £120/140 euros (single) for each additional day (fully inclusive)
Add £250/270 euros (double) for each additional day (fully inclusive)

We anticipate this holiday course being suited to people living in Spain, as well as part of a longer trip to Spain.
