3 days/2nights in stunning Mountain scenery in rural Andalaucia near Ronda, staying in a delightful 3 star Cortijo Hotel

This short break painting holiday gives you the opportunity to learn or improve your painting skills, located in an inspiring environment which will surely motivate your creativity.

Your accommodation at our hotel is located in an isolated valley with stunning views all round. There is plenty of space in the hotel gardens and grounds for you to paint undisturbed.

Your tuition

Our tuition is relaxed and friendly, and as we do our painting around the gardens and grounds of the hotel, you can drop into the sessions in your own time. We do not like to have rigid timetables at Creative Holidays Spain as this is your time and we are here to provide you with support and advice when you request it.

On this Painting short course you have the opportunity to learn:

getting started for beginners and choosing which media to work in

how to use tone, texture, light and shade

how to make and prepare canvases for oil painting

learn about composition, scale and perspective

how to produce paintings from your own photos

Timetable

The Painting Short Courses run for 3 days/2 nights - *Additional days can be added if required*

We are flexible with our dates - but please note that we do not oporate in the months of July and August as it is too hot for painting!

Each course usually runs for arrival at lunch time at the hotel, and finishes late afternoon on the last day. For those staying in Spain this allows time to travel to your next destination while it is still daylight.

These Short break Painting courses are run at the same time as our 7 day Painting holidays, so you have the chance to meet other painters and share your painting ideas or get tips from other painters. As well as meeting new people, you will get the chance to socialise with them. This is helpful for those who would like to come on the Short Course, but are worried about being by themselves.

Accommodation

Your accommodation for the Painting Short Course is the same as for our other holidays. We use the shade of large leafy tree in the back courtyard for most of our painting sessions, or we have the use of spacious studio area if the weather does turn against us. Cost

The Painting Short Course is fully inclusive and includes:

All meals
Your tuition
Wine with your meals
Short trip to the Medieval village of Zahara about 12 kms from the hotel. We take just a couple of hours out on the Tuesday afternoon to see the stunning views of the turquoise lake at Zahara.

The inclusive cost of the Painting Short Course is:

435 Euros/�300 per person - Full holiday cost
375 Euros/�260 per person � Full holiday cost when sharing a room
290 Euros/�200 for non tuition partner - room sharing
50 euros - Deposit per person
Add 170 Euros/�120 pp for each additional day (fully inclusive)

We anticipate this holiday course being suited to people living in Spain, as well as part of longer trip to Spain.
