What to bring ...

What equipment to bring on your painting holiday!




Here are a few suggestions of what you need to bring on your painting holiday so that you are better equipped.

We suggest you bring the following ....
  • Paints of your choice
  • Brushes
  • Brush cleaner (for those using oil paints)
  • Watercolour paper/pad
  • Water container
  • Stretched canvases
  • Small sketch pad to do quick sketches when we go out on trips
  • Sunhat
  • Small back-pack bag to carry your things
  • A camera is a must
  • Address book to swap contact details with others you meet - there are many friendships made on our holidays

Note: We sell ready stretched canvasses and sheets of watercolour paper - if you do not want to be carrying them on your journey out.

We provide the following:
  • Easels for those who are working in oils and acrylics
  • Small fold up stools
  • Boards to rest on your knees for those working in watercolour
  • Boards to stretch water-colour paper and tape


We are hoping to have a universal digital image printer available for all our clients to use for the 2006 season, so that you can print any photographs you have taken on any of the trips we take, and you can then use these to help for painting source material.
